Lawex Corporation
Based out of Miami with remote sites throughout the nation,
Lawex is a developer of the case management product called
TrialWorks. Written back in 1999 in MS Access, I was
brought on board to address the migration into VB.NET and
ASP.NET. My involvement resulted in a product called
TWONLINE which is a rewrite of the MS Access product into
ASP.NET using a N-Tiered model. In conjunction with the
new application model. a test environment, interface, event
logging and a server based service library was constructed.
A marketing campaign to support the new release was successfully
launched and pilots were completed in over 3 sites.
Because of my in-depth knowledge of MS Access and SQL, I also
took upon integration and special projects that included the
Blackberry, TimeSlips, ACT, SQL Reporting Engine and CASEMAP
engines.

Office Furniture USA
The renowned OfficeFurnitureUSA company based in Birmingham
was in the midst conducting business with a new dealer/supplier.
I was able to extend their existing OSS to support new
dealer business trading requirements, which allows dealer's
customers to order through the Office Furniture portal. An ASP.NET web service prototype was created to showcase the
ability to support remote web applications, custom dealer
solutions, improved customer support services and enhanced
interfaces to their existing SAP R/3 Manufacturing & Business Warehouse service. This represents
a significant migration from their InterBase database and legacy
application to a fully operational, load balanced and highly
configurable web service which communicates with a robust SQL
Server engine. In addition to
these services, a container sharing application and EDI
translator/processor was developed to create an interface
between their operations and current SAP manufacturing
processes.

Actek
At the turn of 2007, I got involved with a local company that
developed a enterprise-based compensation and licensing system,
in great need for program management and testing methodologies.
My skills were put into immediate use with new clients in North
America which also lead to the development of a customer/product
database, a configuration loader tool, automated test
applications, issues management tool, reporting models, XML
translators and a simplified application database reader tool.
These were accomplished using Access and Excel VBA technologies
that could be easily deployed to conventional user desktops
without the need for complex installations or setup programs.

U.S. Steel Corporation
U.S. Steel in Fairfield requested my testing
skills in the implementation, improvements and
performance testing of their webMethods based
application used by intranet users, vendors and
suppliers. My principal role included the
design of tests solely for the purpose of
performance testing to ensure that the
application can meet capacity and demands of its
global users. Both WinRunner and
LoadRunner was employed to satisfy testing
requirements which would be applied over the
course of six months to test web-based
applications, and interfaces to their
interconnected SAP Manufacturing systems.

Power of One Health
In late 2003, a group of health professional from the local
University of Alabama Department of Medicine, approached me
about creating a non-profit organization that is designed to
bridge the gap between the minority groups and the often

the development of a fully functional organization complete with
educational centers, special interest groups, business centers
and the formation of a consulting arm that would eventually fund and provision the non-profit center.
The Program Management Office under my tutelage would form the
core of the consulting division that would also produce fully

and offers an extensive task-centric functions that streamlines

operations and frame-relay based network that supported clinics
throughout the Southeast.
My principal work at MedPartners involved the analysis & assessment of clinical operations &
assets to determine if they are a good candidate for integration with the MedPartner's acquisition
interests. The Engagement Management role I assumed helped the firm to understand the risks,
costs and assets required to make the acquisition into a profitable service center.
