Nov Ortos Foundation for Life

This foundation was created to accommodate promising and entrepreneurial professionals who wish to devote their lives to the preservation and enhancement of LIFE.  Having been a strong advocate to all aspects of the preservation and betterment of LIFE, my business development skills (based upon my experience with Power of One Health, and The Foundation) were put to use in forming this organization.  To meet the every changing needs of humankind everywhere, talented professionals gather to immerse ideas, combining them with vision and engineering ideals focused into delivering solutions that bring about the life-enhancing benefits that have often besets the lesser of their brethren.

Comprised of leading architects, scientist and engineers, the group is a non-profit philanthropic organization that is focused on employing their resources and skills for the construction of life-enhancing services such as mobile trauma treatment centers, portable surgical units, municipal art and historical restoration efforts to benefit and serve local and international municipalities.

Their professionals range from award-winning institutions such as Redstone Arsenal, Raytheon Industries, National Aerospace & Space Administration, University of Alabama in Birmingham, Auburn University, State University of New York and University of Alabama in Huntsville.  The foundation sought to leverage key resources made available from the Southeast region whose valuable talents have often been overlooked due to the economic demise of the WWII and Iraq campaigns that have exceeded its conventional defense, scientific and aerospace demands - putting them to effective use into levels of creativity that actually benefits mankind.  Together, they form a complete team of promising talents, experts and thinkers that creates a rather impressive portfolio, is leverages to navigate a foundation into all aspects of philanthropic services that affect life in the 21st century.

The business model adopted for Nov Ortos is completely unique, and is currently focused on these principal areas of operations and program offerings:

The heart of Nov Ortos is its progressive Program Management Office, which helps to form all programs and efforts.  This formation center prides itself in identifying, assessing, planning, implementing and deploying the foundation's efforts.  Since it is also closely tied into operations, it is able to provide enterprise resource planning expertise to determine the best possible solution for any requirement.

It's core principle of operation is hinged on making value-driven decisions that best serves it client and customers.  This is somewhat contrary to most business minded companies, but it is not a requirement for this foundation whose principal beneficiaries is the community in which it serves.  For this reason, conventional risks which are typically attributed with economic factors is not amongst its only reason for engaging projects from inception to completion.  Projects offered to Nov Ortos are often complex, difficult and unrelenting to everyday organizations whose interests are usually focused on attainable gains.  The principle gains that Nov Ortos experiences are often intangible in the eyes of the business-minded, but can only be measured through the smiles, high sense of immaterial satisfaction and life-enhancing attributes that cannot be described in financial terms.  To meet these types of human goals, the foundation adopts a highly personable approach to all of its undertaking - which makes it a winning combination for non-profits and philanthropic organizations.

This office serves the following needs:

Philanthropic consulting
Endowment development
Engineering projects oversight
Design to proof-of-concept prototyping

Many of the creative designs and solutions that have been featured are adopted from great minds and philosophies.  Modern innovations are being encouraged from spatial oriented minds in the Red Arsenal area that have made radical contributions such as creative geometric processes that offer an intriguing look into how simple geometric shapes, honeycomb dynamics, structured membrane designs and spaces can be modeled to offer real-world solution designs such as the Flux Room, Tensegrity Room, Alishan Bridge, The Cistercian Abbey of Le Thoronet, Art Museum of Cologne Archdiocese and the provocative Qatar Education City monuments. These are few of the aforementioned favorites and intellectuals whose specialize in cosmopolitan that include Norman Foster, Jean Nouvel, Nicholas Grimshaw, Piano, Phillipe Samyn, Tadao Ando, Kenzo Tange, Arata Isozaki, Shin Takamatsu and Fumihiko Maki.

This program grew in response for the need to provision talents, engineering resources and technical expertise in implementing solutions to accommodate Power of One Health.  Before long, it took a radical course which culminated in the formation of a the existing group that is comprised of a planning, training, and action teams that is willing to engage health programs from idea to full scale deployment nationally and internationally.

The most innovative asset of this program is the modular mobile hospital kit.  Featuring a self- enclosed medical structure that is completely modular, it can be arranged contiguously to form a contingent of theaters, recovery units, wards and trauma units.  The unique hexagonal design offers a well-balanced approach to modularity that if often compromised by traditional rectangular or squared units.  Furthermore, the modular design also offers the ability to quickly replace unnecessary parts with necessary composite modules, that makes the complete unit a highly functional or specialized model synonymous with a plug-and-play kit, ever so respondent to individual operational requirements.

The flagship unit has taken into account portability, functionality, specialty, robustness, performance and deployment into mind - making this engineering marvel the most valuable technological innovation that serves many day-to-day needs such as disaster relief, prevention centers, test centers, field trauma treatment that can be deployed anytime, and anywhere aboard most conventional carriers that is not limited to freight or standard aircraft transports.

The hospital design features include:

Emergency preparedness compliance
Self-sustaining and self-powered
Mobile Hospital
Mobile clinical assistants
Wireless emergency medical gadgets
Mobile monitoring systems

The unit design is a high-performance structure that is self-sustaining with on-board power generators, water tanks, filtering systems and comprehensive electronics that it comes  complete with a wireless networking infrastructure to support for emergency gadgets such as mobile demand tablet to receive messages, view charts and x-rays wirelessly, to alleviate the need for complex paper-based records or space consuming file cabinets.  Sustenance was crucial so that each unit can operate by itself and may able be hooked-up to external resource generators for added consumption.  Traditional computers and workstations will be replaced by Zypad wearable devices configured for medical scenarios and JACKPC units that rely on strategically placed self-enclosed servers designed to collect, process and communicate data between units and critical resources across the globe.  This all-in-one design makes it the greatest and most affordable emergency center that is both cost-effective and useful in many day-to-day conditions, that promises to evolve with the times and demands of the industry.  The next generation of mobile hospital promises innovations such as the ORBIS FLYING EYE unit which combines recovery rooms, laser treatment center, state-of-the art satellite communications, operating and complete with a sterilization room.

This center was formed to help establish and provide endowment for those individuals who have a unique and explicit skills in the arts.  Many fledgling artists, specialized designers, sculpture artists, teachers, historians will find this institution a resources that explore their philanthropic interests by sharing their well endowed gifts with other who are beginning to enter their own age of creativity and cultural learning.

Various architects, designers and artists who are not attributed with contemporary social centers belong to a class of their very own.  As a result of growing demand by society to preserve ancient art forms that are rapidly diminishing about the globe, this center offers the best means for documenting, showcasing, and providing an academic framework.  This ensures that previously lost art and cultural forms may not be at least be conserved for the benefit of future generations who for once has the ability to retain art without the diminishing effects of time and human memory.

Some of the key areas and activities include:
