As a Portfolio Architect, I was consigned to support various enterprise scale implementations focused on legal, corporate security & privacy lines-of-business leveraging Microsoft, IBM and Oracle technology stacks. I successfully implemented Build-to-Operate processes with rigorous SharePoint based management tool containing extensive support capabilities, customized charting, dashboard, reporting, training and workflow services. I was able to organize, coordinate and manage enterprise process testing efforts, consolidate toolkit selection, build operational data stores, design integrated platform solutions to improve bank-wide risk centric operations.

I was able to take on 5 portfolios with the aid of a small architecture staff that I mentored to handle much of the critical tasks while I built the BTO program and offered architecture support to some of the most highly visible applications & projects at Bank of America.

The greatest value of establishing a Practice Management Office along with its Governance Portal functions is that it offers servicing architects the one-stop-shop portal that allowed them to engage their partners in a very productive way leveraging a streamlined process, with access to reporting tools that includes HotP dashboards, ITSM tickets, application assets, partner contacts coupled with architecture projects designed to direct their work. This streamlined their work everyday with process driven tasks helping them complete critical artifacts such as permits, architecture artifacts leveraging automation that builds technology stack artifacts which also pre-fills many intake forms to alleivate manual inputs, while keeping everything accurately tied together.

Architecture Has Made a Difference

With the direct support of the BTO portal, the architecture team were able to engage their partners & meet many of its service objectives by navigating its portfolio less the guesswork because the identification, cataloging of applications were highly automated, allowing them to service critical architecture work. Consequently, the LCRRT Architecture group were able to help its partners achieve compliance in practice, ecosystem, infrastructure & platforms in record time.
