Bank of America US DB2 platform migration project. John's original remit of Solutions Architect in the US was much expanded when he was also tasked with becoming the primary "goto" person and troubleshooter for all of the impacted UK MBNA associates. In this capacity, John was instrumental in ensuring that a wide variety of UK users' issues were triaged, investigated and resolved (often at his own hands) in a timely manner. John's actions, problem-solving skills & diligence meant that the UK lines-of-business were able to hit all deadlines and migrate on plan - with a minimum of fuss and disruption. John's wide-ranging and detailed technical-expertise, plus his strong work-ethic and "can-do" attitude was matched only by his great interpersonal skills and good humour. John was widely respected, liked and admired by all who crossed his path and has been sorely missed since he left BoA. I would recommend John without hesitation, and furthermore hope to work with him again in the future. |
